Linked Analysis - Filter on data point selection is missing for 'All Widgets In The Story' in SAC

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud Version: 2024.2.16 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAC.
  2. Create a new story.
  3. Add a table.
  4. Click on 'More' option.
  5. Select Linked Analysis'.

Notice that Filter on Data Point Selection is not available for the option 'All widgets in the story'.

Resolution

'Filter on Data point selection is only available for the 'All widgets on the page' option.
