3452962 - Error "Processing not possible due to status Released" Occurs When Updating Production Order via WebService

Symptom

Following error occurs when trying to update a production order via API: ManageProductionOrderIn.

Error: Processing not possible due to status Released.

Reproducing the Issue

Cause

System does not allow to add or remove input products for a released production order.

Resolution

It is the standard system behavior. Add or remove input products in the corresponding production tasks need to be performed via API: ManageProductionLotsIn.
