3453017 - How to delete a Transport Request in app Export Customizing Transports - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

In the 'Export Customizing Transports' app, the 'Delete' option is grayed out and not selectable. As a result, unable to delete unwanted transport requests from the list.

It is not possible to delete requests, request objects, tasks and task objects which contain the Object Type Semantic Business Configuration Lock Token.

Can verify this using the following steps:

1. Open the Export Customizing Transport app.
2. Search for TR IBXXXX.
3. Open IBXXXX and navigate to the Objects tab.
4. All object Types are Semantic Business Configuration Lock Token.

It's only possible to delete transport requests which has the status 'Modifiable' and doesn't contain the 'Object Type Semantic Business Configuration Lock Token'.

To proceed with the deletion, follow the steps below:

1. Select the request which needs to delete.
2. Select Delete.
3. To confirm the deletion, click on Delete again. Once confirmed, the request and all containing tasks are deleted and disappear from the list.

A specific customizing transport request follows the Semantic Business Configuration Lock (SBCL) process, when configuration changes are saved in the Development system, locks are automatically created in the Test and Production systems, these locks prevent further configuration changes and can only be released by importing the transport request containing the SBCL tokens into the target systems 

To resolve this, revert the configuration changes in the customizing tenant of the development system, and then import the transport into the test and production systems to release the locks.
