Plan costs, budget, actual costs not displayed in the apps 'Project Budget Report', 'Project Cost Report', 'Monitor Projects'.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

1. Customization of the Financial Statement Version (FSV) hierarchy YPS2 is either incomplete or incorrect.
2. The GL account is a balance sheet account (for postings not related to project stock).
3. The FS item under which the GL account is mapped is not assigned to the semantic tag ACT_COST.
4. Missing additional semantic tag with parent relationship to ACT_COST.

1. The GL account for which the costs/budget is posted should be mapped to a FS item in the FSV YPS2 under path Contribution Margin Report -> P&L before Tax -> CM III -> CM II -> CM I -> Cost of Goods Sold. The attachment of KBA 2799100 has more information on this configuration. Ensure Replicate Runtime Hierarchy is run for Financial Statement Version YPS2 after any FSV configuration changes. If using Global Hierarchies, ensure the configuration is complete (similar to FSV configuration) for YPS2 in Manage Global Hierarchies  (see screenshot below) and the status of YPS2 is Active.
2. The reports "Project Cost Report" and "Project Budget Report" do not consider postings related to balance sheet GL accounts (postings related to project stock which might use balance sheet accounts are displayed in the app "Project Cost Report" only).
3. The FS item under which the GL account is grouped should be assigned to the semantic tag ACT_COST. This can be done through the app "Assign Semantic Tags to Financial Statement Versions" or directly in Manage Global Hierarchies if using Global Hierarchies.
4. Assign additional semantic tag with parent relationship to ACT_COST to the G/L account node using app "Assign Semantic Tags to Financial Statement Versions" or directly in Manage Global Hierarchies if using Global Hierarchies.
5. Use "Define Semantic Tags for Financial Statement Versions" to view the Semantic Tags with Parent semantic tag = ACT_COST.
6. The documents/postings related to project stock procurement through purchase requisition or purchase order are associated with balance sheet account and should be maintained in the Financial Statement Version (FSV) YPS2 as item 61, under the semantic tag Project/Sales Order Cost (PRSLS_STCK). Item Key 61 "Project/Sales Order St" should be configured directly under "Contribution Margin Report". 

Note: Please ensure that semantic tags related to project stock cost do not have the parent semantic tag as Actual Cost (ACT_COST).
