Purchase order output error ‘Error(s) occurred when merging the document. The return code is 107’, when signed documents (via Adobe) are uploaded into the system.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Access app Manage Purchase Order
2. Open the PO which has status ‘Output Error’
3. Go to Item details of the PO
4. Open Output management tab and preview the output form

Attachments originally brings security permissions.

It is currently not possible for customers to change the settings for PDF protection in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system. In addition, protected PDFs cannot be merged, it’s the intention of the protection that the PDF cannot be modified. In order to proceed with the merging, choose PDFs with no additional security settings. Originally these attachment blocks data copying at permission level.
