3453294 - Error "Switching off Supplier Approval not possible: open requests exist" while trying to merge Change Project

You are trying to merge a Change Project and get below error in your Merge Report:

"Issue found during the technical merge
Switching off Supplier Approval not possible: open requests exist"

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select relevant Change Project.
4. Open Activity List.
5. Open activity Merge.
6. Start merge.
7. It will finish in error and you will see complete error details under "Merge Report".

You are trying to de-scope the Question "Do you want to set up the approval process for suppliers?", but this is not possible to be done while there are suppliers under In Approval status in the system.

You need to clear the suppliers in status Potential Suppliers.

This can be checked in below path:

1. Go to Supplier Base work center.
2. Go to Suppliers view.
3. Filter by Potential Suppliers.

After there are no more Potential Suppliers it should be possible to de-scope the Question.
