3453385 - 'From Date' and 'To Date' Not Working for User Item History Audit Report

When the Learning Administrator's time zone is not defined as UTC, the filters 'From Date' and 'To Date' are not working properly for 'User Item History Audit Report (CSV)'. Some records within the period provided are not included in the report. Also, if both date filters are set to the same day, the report generated is blank even if there are records within the chosen day.

Once the admin's time zone is set to UTC, the date filters work as expected.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM > go to Learning Administration > Preferences >
2. Set time zone as UTC and hit 'Apply changes' >
3. Go to Report > User Item History Audit Report (CSV) > select the required dates at the 'From Date' and 'To Date' filters >
4. Run report and note that results are picked from 12:00 AM of 'From Date' to 24:00 PM of 'To Date' >
5. Choose the same day for both filters and run the report > the output will show the expected results if any >
6. Go to Preferences again and choose any other time zone (e.g., UTC+9, UTC+8, UCT+1) >
7. Repeat the steps #3 to #5 > compare the difference.

The scenario has been investigated by our Engineering team and the correction will be provided within the b2405p2 release version for SaaS customers. For VSaaS customers, the correction will be delivered with the b2405 major release.

In the meantime, there are some workarounds:

• Admins can execute the affected report using the UTC time zone;
• If admins require to execute the affected report with their preferred time zone (and it's not UTC), a larger date filter should be applied.
