3453540 - Import of Emails Via Data Import And Export Tool Results In Error Code: 400

Symptom

You are trying to import Emails into system via Data Impex Tool but it results in 400 error.

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Settings -> All Settings -> Search for "data Import and Export".
  2. Download Template for Emails.
  3. You add records to the list and then try to import the modified file.
  4. You see the import task completes with errors. When you open the error file, the error code is 400.

Cause

Field "emailTransmissionStatus" ( in the request Excel ) should have value 'CREATE' for replication and data impex scenarios.

Resolution

In the Excel file, please add the value "CREATE" to all records for the column "emailTransmissionStatus".
