When trying to save a rating comment in stack ranker, receive an error:

• Unable to save the proficiency level for: User Name: X; Attribute Name: X
• Unable to save the proficiency level for: User Name: X; Competency Name: X

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Log in to SuccessFactors as a manager
2. Navigate to Home dropdown > Performance
3. Select the Team Overview tab
4. Click on a form template to expand > Stack Ranker
5. Select Edit
6. Select the comment box under a rating > enter text > Done
7. Select Save and Exit
8. Receive error

• The error message text is incorrect and is a known issue
• The comment exceeds the 4,000-character limit

The 4,000-character limit is system-defined and cannot be changed. To resolve this issue, the text must be reduced to below 4,000 characters.
