3453796 - Unable to Mark Employee for Deletion in Personal Data Removal

You are using the Personal Data Removal tool to remove employee data through the Data Protection and Privacy work center, however you are not able to mark certain employees for deletion as the "Marked for Deletion" checkbox is greyed out.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Data Protection and Privacy work center.
2. Enter the Personal Data Removal view.
3. Select the All Employees query.
4. Click on the Remove Data button.

Here in the list that appears, the employee cannot be marked for deletion.

This behavior happens since the employee was not yet terminated, or has not gone through the retention period.
