3454243 - Lease Posting Run Error: Number Range Interval Overflow For Document Type Lease Clearing

You run a Lease Posting run and it ends in error.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Lease Contract Management work center.
2. Go to the Periodic Tasks view.
3. Select the Lease Posting Run subview.
4. Select the Run ID: XXX (XXX stands for the Lease Posting Run ID).
5. Select the Log Details tab.
6. Select the line of the erroneous run.
7. Select View.
8. Select Messages tab.
   There are the error messages: 
   Number range interval overflow for document type Lease Clearing.
   Other cashflow items related to lease contract AA cannot be processed (AA stands for the ID of the lease contract).
   Period ABC in fiscal year YYYY closed for closing step Operational postings.

A Posting Date is not maintained for the lease posting run.

On the Data Selection tab of the Lease Posting Run, maintain a Posting Date. If this field is not visible, add it from Personalization Mode.

When the lease posting run is performed, the system considers the Due Date of the contract as Posting Date. If the period of the due date is closed and you want to post on this date, you need to open the period.

If you don't want to open the period and prefer to post the run on another specific date which is opened, on the lease posting run, select the key Date Type as '3-Select a date'. Select a 'Key Date' and Posting Date. This posting date is considered by the system and all cash flow lines will be posted with same posting date.
