3454327 - BPE User validation error for the candidate after initiating Onboarding from RCM - Onboarding

• Error is being received to initiated candidates in Onboarding 2.0:
• Error Message: "The user who is configured as the hiring manager is associated with the value xxxxx that does not exist. To proceed, review the Recruit to Hire mapping and make necessary corrections."

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Here's the possible causes why the error occurred:

• CAUSE 1: The Hiring Manager ID is not passed from RCM to Onboarding.
• CAUSE 2: Check Manage Data > Process for any canceled onboarding process for the candidate.
  • One of the onboarding process has a value 'NO_MANAGER'. Hence, the error.
• CAUSE 3: The assigned Hiring Manager to the Position and in Job Requisition is inactive.

RESOLUTION 1: 

1. Please navigate to "Recruit to Hire Data Mapping".  
2. Ensure there is mapping for the 'manager-id' field in jobInfo.
3. Update the mapping if no mapping configured.
4. Then, go to the Business Processes tile and restart the process.

RESOLUTION 2:

1. Navigate to Manage Data > Process.
2. Enter the candidate's User ID.
3. Select the canceled onboarding process with NO_MANAGER
4. Take Action > Make Correction.
5. Add the candidate's Manager to the Manager field
6. Save.
7. Once done, restart the error in Business Process Task via To-do panel

RESOLUTION 3:

1. Check in recruit to hire data mapping what field in recruiting is used to map manager value
2. Navigate to Recruiting > if mapped to field on job requisition > open job req > locate manager field
3. Update the Hiring Manager and ensure you are entering an active user.
4. Finally, restart the task in Business Process Task
