3454472 - Cannot Add Header Discount Pricing Component to Sales Order

The Header Discount pricing component has been activated within the Pricing Procedures, however, the same is not showing within the Sales Order.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Select the Sales Orders view.
3. Click New.
4. Select Sales Order.
5. Enter the needed master data.
6. Navigate to the Pricing and Invoicing tab.
7. Under Total Pricing, click the Add Row button.

The pricing component is not showing as expected.

The Price Component Header Discounts in step 111 of your Pricing Procedure is not a Price Component for which you can add a manual value in the Total Pricing section of your Sales Document.
Therefore, it is also not visible in the drop down list when you click on Add Row in the Total Pricing Section.

The Price Component Header Discounts in step 111 of the Pricing Procedure is a calculated value which is calculated on the total sum from Step 051 to Step 054.
This means that if you add one or multiple Overall Discount (%) (step 052) in the Total Pricing section of the sales document, the Price Component value of these are summed up and is displayed in the Header Discounts.

This is the system expected behavior. 

If you would like to use additional discounts with a Fixed value or a Percentage based value, you can avail of the feature Absolute and Percentage based Additional Overall Discounts.
