3454514 - Inventory/Overhead Accounting Job Logs Retention and Deletion Criteria

Clarification is required regarding the retention period and deletion criteria of application job logs generated by the 'Schedule Inventory Accounting Jobs' and 'Schedule Overhead Accounting Jobs' apps, including whether the retention period can be configured or extended.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Application job logs are deleted automatically by the system according to predefined retention rules. The execution time of the cleanup process depends on the periodic granularity of the corresponding application job.
• Currently, the following retention periods apply:

• The retention periods listed above are standard system behavior in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• Changing, extending, or configuring the application job log retention period is not supported.
• If log information is required beyond the standard retention period, the relevant logs must be downloaded or exported before they are automatically removed by the system.
