3454852 - Free goods sales return order item category

Symptom

Upon creating an Lean Return the following error is encountered

  • "Copying F2 TANN to CBRE is not defined"

Environment

  • Sales and Distribution (SD)
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud All versions 

Cause

The configuration in the copying control between invoice F2, customer returns CBRE and item category TANN has not been maintained as standard. The item category assignment for document type CBRE and TANN has also not been maintained as standard.

Resolution

Please use one of the standard item categories provided for free of charge items:

CBLN    Free of Charge Exps
CBPN    FoC Enh Pro-forma
CRXN    Ret FoC Enh

If you really need to use TANN with Lean Return, please consider creating a feature request.
