Attachment tab not visible in Shopping Cart created using the Go Shopping function.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Home work center.
2. Select Self-Services Overview view.
3. Click on Go Shopping link.
4. Create a Shopping Cart.

See that there is no Attachments tab.

If the Shopping Cart is created via the function Go Shopping the attachment tab is not available, since this function creates a simple document. On the other hand the Go Shopping Advanced creates a more complete document were is possible to add more information, such as attachments. 

The Go Shopping function and Go Shopping (Advanced) have some differences, such as:

1. User Context:
   - The Go Shopping function is mainly for individuals purchasing items for themselves or for their own projects. The user is placing an order for their own needs.
   - The Go Shopping (Advanced) function is used when one wants to purchase items on behalf of someone else or a different project. This is typically used by personal assistants or others who need to order items for their colleagues or for other projects.
2. Set Defaults Step:
   - The Go Shopping (Advanced) function has an initial step called "Set Defaults" where you enter the details of the employee for whom you are shopping. This step is not present in the standard Go Shopping function.
3. Cost Assignment:
   - In the Go Shopping process, the cost is usually assigned to the cost center to which the user belongs or the project chosen by the user.
   - In the Go Shopping (Advanced) process, the cost can be assigned to different areas such as the cost center of the recipient, a customer contract, a project task, a sales order, or a service order. It also allows for the cost assignment to be split among different areas.
4. Preferred Supplier and Contract:
   - The Go Shopping (Advanced) function allows you to specify a preferred supplier for an item and select a contract for the item from a list of contracts assigned to that catalog item.

Overall, the Go Shopping (Advanced) function provides more flexibility and options for complex shopping scenarios, such as ordering on behalf of someone else, splitting cost assignments, add attachments, and selecting preferred suppliers or contracts.

So to use this tab, please creates a Shopping Cart from Go Shopping Advanced.
