3455038 - Upon adding/editing global assignment, the Hire Date of Main employment is changed

When adding/editing the global assignment to the user, the Hire Date field of Main employment is changed.

1. Navigate to employee profile of Global Assignment user.
2. Click on Global Assignment User in Employment Switcher.
3. Immediately click on Home Assignment User and Click on Action -> Manage Global Assignment.
   
4. Edit the global assignment and window will open. 
5. Perform Edit operation and save. 
6. Changes made were saved for Home Assignment and Hire date of Main employment is changed.
   
7. Ideally from Home Assignment we should only be able to Add New Global Assignments.

• Engineering Team have confirmed that the code fix will be done with 2H 2024 /b2411 release. 

• Please wait for a second before taking any action while switching between employments.

Workaround: If a user is affected, please perform import of data to correct the hire date for such affected users.
