3455183 - Abnormal Planned Revenue and Planned COS value shown in APP 'Event Based Revenue Recognition - Projects'

There are unexpected planned revenue and planned cost value shown in APP 'Event Based Revenue Recognition - Projects'.
For example, all planned values are shown as planned COS, 0 value is shown as planned revenue.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Based on Company Code and Accounting principle, in most cases, Planned Category 'REVREC01' is maintained in Event Based Revenue Recognition customizing.

Kindly check in APP 'Display Financial Plan Data', choose plan category as 'REVREC01', filter the relevant project ID to see the plan data under different G/L accounts.

• IF Cost element category of the GL account is equal to 11 or 12, then it's shown as 'Planned Revenue'.
• IF Cost element category of the GL account is different from 11 and 12 -> then it's shown as 'Planned COS'.

Kindly make sure the accounts used for planning are configured with correct cost element category.
For example, make sure the planned revenue value is mapped to a cost element with cost element category 11 or 12.
APP 'Manage G/L Account Master Data' can be used to view/change cost element category of accounts.
