3455540 - E-signature is not triggering for candidates

Symptom

E-Signature is not triggering for candidates. You have checked the following points:

PFS is properly configured
Business rule to assign forms are properly configured
Forms don't contain special characters on their name (only alphanumeric are allowed).
Placeholders are checked: Text field and Signature fields are properly configured (Further information about signature fields 3051584 - Not able to map Signature Field in forms - Onboarding - SAP for Me )
Open Text is used for Document storage

Errors can be found:

Error during document storage in attachment service
Failed upload attachment, status=null
document to OPENTEXT(documentId=null)

Reproducing the Issue

Initiate onboarding for an user
Complete all the steps until the E-Signature step
Login as external user, the E-Signature step is not triggered

Cause

Document Management Services used is "OpenText" and there is an error during document storage in attachment service.

Resolution

You can open a case to Support (component: LOD-SF-OBX-DOC), Onboarding Support will be able to identify the following error: "processUpload() PDF_EXAMPLE_NAME.pdf document to OPENTEXT(documentId=null)"

Try to remove the affected form from business rule, after that all the other forms trigger for affected candidate.

After removing the affected form, please raise a separate ticket to OpenText to check this particular form is failing, as Onboarding doesn't have access to this Document Storage.
