3455914 - How to designate the secondary site for hint based routing in a multitarget readaccess system

Symptom

  • You are using the RESULT_LAG hint for readaccess in secondary site. For example: 
SELECT * FROM T1 WITH HINT( RESULT_LAG ('hana_sr', 60) );
  • Since HANA 2.0 SPS04, in a multitarget system replication setup, you can configure multiple secondaries as Active/Active (read enabled). Only one of these secondaries can be accessed via hint-based statement routing; the other one must be accessed via direct connection.  You want to know how to designate the secondary site to run the hint based sql statement from primary site.
