3456420 - Asia/Almaty Time zone change not yet updated in SuccessFactors

The time zone for Asia/Almaty should be GMT+5, but it is still GMT+6. The outdated time zone can be seen in the system anywhere it is used, for example:

• On the people profile, for users in this time zone,
• In the Data Inspector

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Go to Data Inspector
2. Select the "Time zone" table
3. Go to the Asia/Almaty field
4. See the outdated GMT+6 value

On 1st March 2024 Kazakhstan officially changed the time zone Asia/Almaty from GMT+6 to GMT+5. This change is not yet implemented into SuccessFactors.

Engineering is currently investigating a solution to implement the change into SuccessFactors as soon as possible.
