3456477 - Time Account for current year missing for an Employee


Time Account for the current year is not appearing for an Employee in their Time Account Balances.

Reproducing the Issue

1. Time Administration - Employees work center

2. Search for affected Employee and Edit

3. In Time Account Balances tab the current year is not visible despite previous years being completed.


This can be caused by a Partial Day Absence on a Public Holiday.
Normally this would be caught on booking but can occur when an unscheduled Public Holiday occurs ie one that was not planned at the start of the calendar year.

You can follow the below steps to confirm:

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center
  2. Select the Regular Tasks view
  3. Under the section Time Valuations, select the link Administer Day Closure Runs
  4. Logs will be failing for affected Employees


Remove the Partial Day Absence on the unscheduled Public Holiday.

The next Day Closure Run should correct everything over night. Otherwise perform a manual Day Closure Run for the affected Employee with a Start Date that is related to the start of the Time Account.
