3456481 - Replication Flow - There is no outbound volume available for this month message

Symptom

When creating a replication flow that involves the Google Cloud Storage or Azure Data Lake Store environments, the following message is raised:

"The replication flow to this non-SAP target connection cannot be started because there is no outbound volume available for this month.
An administrator can increase the Premium Outbound blocks for this tenant, making outbound volume available for this month."

Environment

SAP Datasphere

Reproducing the Issue

Create a replication flow involving Google Cloud Storage environment

Cause

Missing blocks allocated to Premium Outbound Integration on tenant configuration

Resolution

  • According to the Google cloud documentation and Microsoft Azure Data Lake Store Gen2, a non-SAP target can only be used for a replication flow if the tenant has assigned blocks to Premium Outbound Integration.
  • Please check your tenant to see if the Administrator can allocate blocks for Premium Outbound Integration.
  • A tenant with 4300CUs does not have sufficient capacity to enable this feature.
  • You may use the SAP Datasphere Capacity Unit Calculator to estimate the additional capacity units required to enable this feature.
  • If you wish to make changes to your contractual situation, you will need to reach out to the SAP Account Executive assigned to your account - see KBA 2626344 Who is the SAP Account Manager for my company?
