3456489 - Unable to Renew Certificate as the Button is Greyed Out

Symptom

You are trying to renew a Certificate in the system, however the button is greyed out.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer.

SAP Business ByDesign.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator work center.
  2. Then go the Communication Certificates view.
  3. Try to click Renew Tenant Certificate, however it's greyed out.

Cause

The button is greyed out for inbound certificates as this should be renewed from the sender's side. The sender has the keypair for the inbound certificates, hence it cannot be renewed from SAP side.

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior.

The button will be active only for Outbound Certificates as SAP is the sender is such cases. This can be checked if we change the category from Inbound to Outbound in the drop down.
