3456542 - Error Message: "Journal entry ABC: Original Entry Document Date missing"

Symptom

While checking the Execution Details of a DATEV Export run the warning message "Journal entry ABC: Original Entry Document Date missing" is shown on the Results tab 

(ABC means Journal Entry Voucher ID)

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
  2. Go to the Periodic Tasks view.
  3. Go to the DATEV Export sub-view.
  4. Search for DATEV Run ID DEF (DEF means DATEV Run ID).
  5. Go to Execution Details tab, select "all logs" and open Application log ID XYZ (XYZ means the Application Log ID).
  6. Go to Results tab.

An error message will be raised on the screen:
"Journal entry ABC: Original Entry Document Date missing" 

Cause

The posting date for all DATEV runs is not the same as the creation date. These documents are actually created after the DATEV run posting.

These dates can be checked following the steps below:

  1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
  2. Journal Entry Vouchers view.
  3. Select "All Journal Entry Vouchers", and search for Journal Entry Voucher ABC.
  4. Open it, and go to "General Information" tab.

Here, Posting Date and Creation Date can be seen.

Resolution

While creating the Journal Entry Voucher ABC, the Document Date should me maintained.
