3457055 - The previous email information from a rehired employee is moved to their new profile - Onboarding

Symptom

When someone is rehired in the same old company, their previous email information is transferred to their new rehire profile. This means that both the old and new data will be shown, with two email IDs displayed in the email information section.

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to the Home Page and click on the ONB Tile for Rehire Verification.
2. Choose the option for rehiring with the same company.
3. See the Email Information Portlet.

Resolution

If the candidate has been selected for rehire as Old employment during the second rehire check, it is expected that there will be two business emails associated with them: one from their old employment and one from their new employment. Whether the candidate was recruited or manually onboarded does not affect the outcome.
