3457194 - Custom Rehire Verification Notification Configuration - Onboarding

How to create a custom notification to be triggered when the Rehire Verification task (second rehire verification) gets start / is in progress?

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Please follow below configuration steps:

1. Go to Admin Center >> Email Services:

(1) Create a custom Email Category: Configuring Email Categories | SAP Help Portal 

• Content Builder: select "Onboarding Content Builder"
• To Recipient Builder: select "Onboarding Role-Based Recipient Builder" / "Dynamic Group Recipient Builder"

(2) Create a custom Email Trigger: Configuring Email Triggers | SAP Help Portal 

• Category: select the custom Email Category created in step (1)

(3) Create a custom Email Template: Managing Email Templates | SAP Help Portal 

• Category: select the custom Email Category created in step (1)
• Select Trigger: select the custom Email Trigger created in step (2)
• To Recipient Builder: select based on custom Email Category configuration ("Onboarding Role-Based Recipient Builder" / "Dynamic Group Recipient Builder")

2. Go to Admin Center >> Configure Business Rules:

Create a custom rule to trigger the custom Email Template created in Step 1.(3): Process Overview for Creating a Business Rule to Trigger Email Notifications | SAP Help Portal 

• Scenario: select "Rules for MDF Based Objects"
• Email Trigger: select the custom Email Trigger created in step 1.(2)
• Data Source: Process

Note: It's necessary to add rule condition of "Original Record" to avoid email being triggered for multiple times.

※ Sample rule configuration:

3. Go to Admin Center >> Object Definition:

(1) Select Object Definition >> search "Process (ONB2Process)"

(2) Click "Take Action" >> "Make Correction"

(3) Go to "Post Save Rules" >> select the custom rule created in Step 2 >> save
