- How to close/cancel the compliance and I-9 tasks for terminated candidates?
- Candidate went through Onboarding process without completing Compliance/I-9 tasks, was hired in system, and terminated afterwards.

Resolution
This KBA refers for candidates already affected, and the desire is to remove/close these tasks as they will be remain opened. But we suggest you to follow the recommended process: firstly cancel Onboarding process, and only after, terminate these users. We do not recommend to terminate hired users with pending compliance/I-9 tasks.
As Onboarding processes and related items are in an Open status, they need to be set to "Closed" first to disappear from Onboarding Dashboard or Home page cards, for example.
However, all the sub-objects also need to be completed, below there's the steps of how to properly close all of them:
Manage Data, you'll have to close all:
- Select Process > Enter Candidate's Process ID > scroll down to 'Form I-9 and E-Verify', 'Compliance Forms' and 'Complete E-Signature'
- I-9 User Data > Search with the candidate's userID > Select all pending I-9 (normally section 1 and 2) and manually change its Status to Complete or Cancelled.
- Compliance Process > Search with the candidate's userID > Select all pending Compliance and manually change its Status to Complete or Cancelled
- AssignedComplianceForm > Search with the candidate's userID > Select all pending tasks > Set to Completed/Cancelled or Delete them.
BPE - Process Monitor Tool, click on "Filter" icon and select variable "OnboardingProcessId=123456789" (change number to the candidate's process ID).
- Onboarding2I9Worflow - for both I-9 section 1 and 2 - copy it from field "ID"
- Onboarding2ComplianceWorflow - copy it from field "ID"
Now, go to BPE Manage User Tasks and enter the "Process Instance ID" with the one copied from monitor tool > "Complete" both tasks.

Obs: It's possible to find the candidate's User ID displayed on the "Process" entity, once we are looking for the 'Process ID', the dropdown will show "Onboarding stable ID" and "User". - Compliance Process > Search with the candidate's userID > Select all pending Compliance and manually change its Status to Complete or Cancelled.
- AssignedComplianceForm > Search with the candidate's userID > Select all pending tasks > Set to Completed/Cancelled or Delete them.
