3457847 - IPS Job Fails with Error: "Target host is not specified" after Migrating to Common Super Domain

Symptom

error=Connector cannot process more entities due to irreparable error Caused by: An error has occurred while trying to retrieve a CSRF token from:
XXX.analytics.cloud.sap/api/v1/scim/Users?count=1 Caused by: null Caused by: Target host is not specified

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors
  • Identity Provisioning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Migrate SAP SuccessFactors to Common Super Domain according to Migrating Tenants to the Common Super Domain.
  2. Run IPS job to provision users from SF to SAC.

Cause

CSD upgrade procedure triggers to set incorrect URL in the SAC target system, resulting in IPS job errors.

Incorrect:

XXX.analytics.cloud.sap

Correct:

https://XXX.analytics.cloud.sap

Resolution

A general fix has already been delivered. However, migrations performed before the general fix have this issue and needs to be corrected manually. Open a support case with component LOD-SF-ANA-SAC.

Note:

Manually changing the URL in the SAC target system is not a workaround. It will require to re-enter the password.

The password for "sac_tech_user" is not provided to the customer. KBA 2967617 provides more information of the sac_tech_user password.
