3457935 - Background Elements portlet allows several entries to be marked as Primary and saved

Background Elements portlet (Eg:Education portlet) is allowing several entries to be marked as ‘Is Primary’ = yes, without any error messages or issues upon saving.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile: Background Elements

1. Enable field isPrimary under any background element in Manage Business Configuration tool.
2. Go to respective background element and you can enter and save multiple entries with isPrimary as Yes. No error or any warnings shown by system.

Expected behavior.

• Background data doesn't support the logic of Primary Record concept even if there is a field configured in data model similar as other EC element
• There won't be primary check at the code level.
