• Job Application Page is not honoring Application startDate for Object fields.
• Unable to select Application object values which are currently inactive, but will become active in future.

Configuration requirements:

1. The standard field "startDate" has been defined and permissioned in the Job Application template.
2. "Allow users to select only those instances that are active as of the date in the Job Start Date field in the Job Requisition, Application and Offer Detail pages" is enabled in Manage Recruiting Settings.

Steps to reproduce:

Scenario 1 - Values are currently inactive, but will become active in the future:

1. Select a date in the Job Application startDate field.
2. Observe that Job Application object fields always show values as of the current date, not honoring the Job Application startDate. 
3. This prevents selecting future effective values.

Scenario 2 - A history record as of the current date is active, a new record will become active in the future:

1. Select a date in the Job Application startDate field.
2. Observe that Job Application object fields always show values as of the current date, not honoring the Job Application startDate. 
3. Select the value as of the current date and save.
4. After saving the value, observe that it shows the future effective value based on the Job Application startDate.
5. However, after clicking the Edit button, the value is erased and shows "No Selection".

Currently, the data is getting fetched on application workbench based on the current date. The effective start date of the object is not getting considered.

This is a known issue and the Engineering team will work to fix it.

Order of precedence should be:

1. Job Application startDate.
2. if empty, Job Requisition jobStartDate.
3. if empty, current date.
