3458277 - Not able to print variant key on sales documents - S/4HANA Cloud

Symptom

While using variant conditions to calculate prices for configurable products in sales documents, you may need to print the variant key and description on the output documents, e.g. ORDER_CONFIRMATION. The variant key and description are available in the price schema of the line items in a sales order. However when generating the output document only the description field is available in the XML that is used to generate the PDF form.

Cause

Standard system behavior.

Resolution

Try the extensibility to manipulate the value of variant keys in the output form of Sales Order.
