3458374 - When viewing or refreshing the webi reports get the error message : The following database error occurred: (CS) "SSO failed because session cannot be verified : Single Sign-On failed because the associated session can not be verified

Symptom

  • Users who login via SAML Authentication get the following message when viewing or refreshing the webi (Web Intelligence) reports configured with an E2E SSO (SSO to the database) connection
    The following database error occurred: (CS) "SSO failed because session cannot be verified : Single Sign-On failed because the associated session can not be verified.
    Try to log on to Business Objects Enterprise again.(FWB 00021)" .

  • In the logs of web application for the user using the SAML workflow check with view and refreshing the webi report:

    CS::DBDriver_Connect: 0.063
    Error=SSO failed because session cannot be verified : Single Sign-On failed because the associated session can not be verified. Try to log on to Business Objects Enterprise again. (FWB 00021)

    (sessionmgr.cpp:1415) SSO: ValidateToken: alias secEnterprise:USERNAME not found on user USERNAME for validating token <TOKEN>>
