3458953 - Agent goes offline intermittently due to timeout in SAP Cloud Integration for data services


  • CI-DS agent goes offline intermittently.
  • Restarting the agent does not permanently solve the issue (see KBA 2444345 - How to start, stop, or restart the Data Services Agent - SAP Cloud Platform Integration for data services).
  • There are no reports of the CI-DS server being down during the period at which the agent was offline.
  • DSOD logs show the following error message:

UTC SEVERE: Exception occurred when ping agent manager.
