3459526 - How the branching logic works in Satisfaction Survey questions

Symptom

You would like to create a Survey and use the branching logic for the questions but it is not clear enough how the functionality works.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Resolution

The 'Branch to' option shows the next question in the survey after an answer is submitted. While for the 'Unanswered Branch to' if no answer is submitted, then the survey proceeds to this question.

The 'Branch to' is available for the following Questions Type:

  • Amount
  • Date
  • Date Range
  • Multiple Choice (select multiple)
  • Numeric Value
  • Quantity
  • Section
  • Text

While the 'Unanswered Branch to' supports the same types and one more:

  • Amount
  • Date
  • Date Range
  • Multiple Choice (select multiple)
  • Multiple Choice (select one)
  • Numeric Value
  • Quantity
  • Section
  • Text

The Matrix type does not support either options.
