Symptom

You want to partitioning a table which has the IDENTITY feature but following error message is reported:

Could not execute 'alter table tab_test partition by hash (a) partitions 20' in 426 ms 873 µs . 
SAP DBTech JDBC: [2048]: column store error: fail to alter partition: [2051] partition specification not valid;The attribute A is not allowed in a partition specification.
