3460149 - Error in Goods Receipt: Recipient not found or Requester not found

You have submitted a project related time entry which has in turn created a Goods and Services Receipt but you are unable to post the goods receipt document.

SAP Business By Design

1. Go to Goods and Services Receipts work center
2. Select view Receipts and Returns view
3. Select Show by Documents
4. Search for the respective Goods Receipt document
5. It is in status "In Preparation"
6. Select Check
7. Error: Recipient not found/ Requester not found

The (requester/recipient)employee ID was changed from A(old employee id) to B(new employee id) before the goods receipt document was posted. Hence it has created an inconsistency in backend and system is throwing the error.

Please ensure to post all the relevant documents before making any master data changes.

For current document in error where no further actions can be taken from front end, you can raise an incident to SAP for backend correction.
