3460156 - You are unable to edit a Purchase Order

You have created a purchase order and sent for approval, then the purchase order was rejected by the approver . Now you are trying to edit the purchase order but it is no longer editable.

SAP Business By Design

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Select view Purchase Orders 
3. Open the respective order
4. You are unable to edit the order or resubmit it.

The purchase order was sent for approval and it was rejected by the approver, hence you can not edit it any longer. Once rejected, the PO is no longer valid.

This is standard system behavior. Purchase order can be edited and submitted again if it is sent for revision by approver but if it is rejected, then this purchase order becomes invalid, no further actions can be taken.
