3460205 - Message “You Are Not Authorized To Change the Data” When No Exist Data Is Searched

The business user has "no edit" access rights defined, and even while searching for non-existing data in C4C, they still receive the message, "You are not authorized to change the data."

In this scenario, we are using Premise as an example. However, it can be set as the default for other C4C work center views.

1. Login as "no edit access" business user.
2. Go to the Utilities work center.
3. Go to the Premise work center view.
4. Search for the non-existing Premise ID 123456 (where 123456 means the Premise ID).
5. Message: ''You are not authorized to change the data''.

The expectation is that the message will no longer be available once no records are maintained in C4C.

The message "You are not authorized to change the data" is displayed correctly when the business user has "No edit access" in their business role.

Even though there are no data/records maintained in C4C, the message will be prompted because the business user is accessing the work center view. Due to the system's design, access rights are defined at the work center view level.

This is the standard behavior of the system.
