3460641 - Error when trying to login directly to SAP JAM

Symptom

  • Customer is not being able to login directly to JAM from URL sent by email.
  • The JAM landing page when accessed from the emails received throws an error message.
  • The issue is happening whenever a user is not logged into SF already and trying to access the JAM.
  • The issue doesn't happen when the user is already logged into SF in the system and clicks the URL from emails.

  • SAP Jam Collaboration

Reproducing the Issue

  1. User is not logged into SF yet
  2. Click on the JAM URL received by email directing him to a task in JAM
  3. Receives the error below: 

Cause

This is caused by a generic Identity Provider IdP redirect to /login instead of Service Provider SP initial login 

Resolution

The fix is planned by engineering on b2405 release.
