3460707 - Pick Outbound Delivery App (F0868): Posting goods issue without specifying serial numbers is now possible in a delivery with optional serial numbers - SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2408 and higher

If serial numbers are optional for the items in a delivery, the Ready for GI tab is displayed on the UI during processing, and goods issue is not blocked when serial numbers have not been specified.

In the configuration environment, carry out the following procedure for the configuration step Define Serial Number Profiles (ID:103636):

1. Select the corresponding Serial Number profile in the list and double click Serializing procedures in the Dialog Structure.
2. Set the value SerUsage to any value other than '01 – None' for the procedures SDLS and SDRE. 
3. Set the value SerUsage to either ‘01 - None’ or ‘02 - Optional’ for the procedures SDCC and SDCR.

Result: Posting goods issue for deliveries with optional serial numbers is now possible without specifying serial numbers.

To resolve the issue described in SAP Note 3443799, the functionality of the Pick Outbound Delivery app (F0868) has been enhanced beginning with the CE 2408 release to enable the correct processing of optional serial numbers.

The following table describes the new functionality for posting goods issue based on the settings for serial number usage in the configuration step Define Serial Number Profiles (ID:103636):
