3460864 - Full screen icon not visible when theme elements have the same color

If the active theme has the same color for 'Header background color' and 'Body link text color', the Full Screen icon is not visible in the top right corner of the course screen. It is only displayed when hovering the mouse.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM > Admin Center > access the Theme Manager>
2. Edit the active theme >
3. At Fine Tune > Portlets > update the 'Header Background Color' and the 'Body Link Text Color' to the same color >
4. Save the changes >
5. Access the Learning module as a user >
6. From Learning Assignments, navigate to an item >
7. Notice that the Full Screen icon is not visible on the top right corner >
8. When hovering the mouse on the top right corner, the Full Screen icon is displayed.

Our engineering team confirmed that this scenario is the expected behavior if the theme in use has the same color for the settings 'Body link text color' and 'Header background color'. This happened due to a theme change:

• From the b2405 version onwards, the color of the Full Screen icon began to be controlled by 'Body link text color';
• Up to the b2311 version, the affected icon was controlled by 'Header text color'.

For the Full Screen icon to be visible, please change the theme settings on the Theme Manager so the elements have different colors.

Alternatively, to have a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request created for it (as per KBA 2090228), where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
