3460873 - Project Task Not Available for Selection in Expense Report Cost Assignment

Project Task ABC (ABC represents the Project Task ID) is not available for selection in Edit Cost Assignment option within an Expense Report.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Travel and Expenses work center.
2. Go to the Common Tasks -> New expense report on behalf option.
3. Select the respective Employee ID.
4. Select Type of Expense report: Out-of-pocket expenses.
5. Enter any Purpose and click Edit Cost Assignment.
6. Click Add Row.
7. Select Account Assignment Type: Project Task.
8. Click the value help icon.
9. Notice that Project Task ABC is not available for selection.

Remark: the Expense Report Allowed checkbox has been marked for the Project Task ABC in its respective Project Plan, so the expectation was that ABC would show up for selection in the expense report.

The value help for the Project Task field shows the project tasks relevant for the respective employee. 

To display all tasks, after clicking the value help icon for Project Task you should click Open Advanced Filter icon and remove the Employee ID.
