3460889 - Unable to Release Price Lists Consistently When the Number of Items over 10000

Symptom

Unable to release price lists consistently with number of line items exceeds 10000.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Product and Service Portfolio - Price Lists 
  2. Select and Edit the Price List ABC (ABC represents the Price List ID)
  3. Click on Release button.

Cause

For optimum performance, the number of line items on the Price List are best limited to around 10000 or less.

Resolution

Reduce the number of line items in the Price List and limit it to a number less than 10000. Once this is done, the price list can be Released successfully.
