3461075 - Error: "Reason code invalid" While Updating 3PL Inventory Adjustment

An Inventory Notification is created in the system however the document becomes inconsistent throwing an error "Reason code invalid" while trying to update the absolute stock in 3PL inventory adjustment using the reason code 1 - Initial migration.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Third-Party Logistics Work center.
2. Select 3PL Inventory Management sub view.
3. There you can see the Internal Notification ID.
4. Select any one Internal Notification ID.
5. Choose edit.
6. Go to Item tab, under the Reason field select the drop down you find see only 6 reason code.
7. Now here user is entering reason code: "1-Initial Migration" manually however system throws above error.

Now, 

1. Go to Third-Party Logistics Workcenter.
2. Select 3PL Inventory Management sub view.
3. Go to Advanced filter.
4. Under the Item Data in the field Reason.
5. Select the drop down, here number of reason codes are around 34 in total.

• Inventory Notification Advanced Filter have more reason codes compared to Inventory Notification Reason codes at the time of creation of a document.
• They have different logic and different BO's mapping for Reason code Value help in the backend.
• Inventory Notification Advanced Filter Reason code does not have any filters in logic whereas Reason code while creation of Inventory Notification has value help filter logic in the backend.

As per standard SAP, it allows the visibility of only 6 values available in dropdown while creating Inventory Notification with type Inventory change in Externally-Managed location.
