The <IDCODICE> tag only displays numeric values in the XML of the eDocuments from Italy. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access eDocument Cockpit app.
2. Select the desired document.
3. Go To > Display XML file.

The <IDCODICE> tag only displays numeric values in the XML of the eDocuments from Italy. 

This is current expected system behavior.

The <IDCODICE> tag is typically populated only with the numeric part of the VAT number, as the country code is already provided in the <IdPaese> tag.

If there is a requirement to include the full VAT number (for example, “EL111111111”) in the <IDCODICE> tag, this can be achieved by implementing custom logic using the BAdI “Italy: XML File Filling.”
