Symptom
Validation error occurs when modify existing calibration alert rules.

Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Calibration
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to configure business rule.
- Click on an existing calibration alert rule to be modified.
- Click on "change scenario".
- Follow the instruction to back up data, proceed to step 2.
- Choose the scenario "Calibration" and select "Calibration Alert", proceed to step 3.
- Select the form template you want to use, proceed to step 4.
- Error occurs in the "Validation Results" section: You can’t assign this scenario to the rule. There is at least one critical error within the rule that would prevent it from working correctly afterwards. Please fix the errors listed below, and then try to assign the new scenario again.
- In the details error description, it shows:
- The parameter “PM Template-XXXXXX” in this rule refers to an unavailable or inactive object. OR
- The type “pm_PerformanceTemplate:pmXXX” of parameter “PM Template-XXXXXXX” used in this rule does not match the type “pm_PerformanceTemplate:pmXXXX” of the parameter defined by the rule scenario.
Cause
Form templates are defined in the rule condition "If".
Resolution
Please clear the form template condition defined in the rule before change the form template selection via "change scenario".
