3461685 - Incorrect volume data is imported into the model from BW in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

When import data from BW into the model in SAC, it is found the number is not correct, and the data amount imported with filter is larger than the imported data without filter.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)
  • SAP Analytics Cloud Agent 1.0.217

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAC.
  2. Open the model.
  3. Create an import from BW and make sure filter is used in the query.
  4. Notice that the imported data number is not correct.
  5. Remove the query and import again, notice that the imported data amount is less than the amount with filter. 

Cause

The SAP Analytics Cloud Agent version is too low. 

Resolution

Upgrade the SAP Analytics Cloud Agent to the latest version, follow the steps in the help guide Updating SAP Analytics Cloud Agent.
