This error message is shown in Performance Management while initiating different actions:
'Looks like something went wrong. Please try again or contact your administrator for help.'

Actions that can lead to the error:

• Accessing Performance Management from Home page;
• Accessing Compensation forms from Home page;
• Routing forms forward and backward;
• Saving a form;
• Changing languages then accessing Performance Management inbox.

Accessing Performance Management from Home page

1. Enable latest version of my forms in Performance Management Feature Settings.
2. Click Performance Tab on Home page.
3. The title of Performance Inbox is shown, but below error message is being displayed:
   'Looks like something went wrong. Please try again or contact your administrator for help.'

Accessing Compensation forms from Home page

1. Enable latest version of my forms in Performance Management Feature Settings.
2. Click Compensation Tab on Home page.
3. The page keeps loading and below error message is being displayed:
   'Looks like something went wrong. Please try again or contact your administrator for help.'

Routing forms forward and backward

1. Enable latest version of my forms in Performance Management Feature Settings.
2. Open a form in Performance inbox.
3. Send it to the next or previous step.
4. Below error message is being displayed:
   'Looks like something went wrong. Please try again or contact your administrator for help.'

Saving a form

1. Enable latest version of my forms in Performance Management Feature Settings.
2. Open a form in Performance inbox.
3. Save the form.
4. Below error message is being displayed:
   'Looks like something went wrong. Please try again or contact your administrator for help.'

Changing languages then accessing Performance Management inbox

1. Enable latest version of my forms in Performance Management Feature Settings.
2. Go to Settings > Change Language and set a different language.
3. Open Performance inbox.
4. Below error message is being displayed:
   'Looks like something went wrong. Please try again or contact your administrator for help.'

The error caused by the error: dir(rtl) is not a valid selector in Console and happening when the browser you use is not in the latest version.
SAP has implemented a new framework in 2405 that requires the latest browser version.

Also the error can be related to a known coding issue.

To ensure that you could use the system without any issues, we recommend using the latest browser version as frequently as possible.

For Latest Performance Management, update your browser to one of the latest two stable versions.

In addition, we are constantly adding new features with each release. As we iterate on our product, some of these new features also require the use of more advanced components that are only supported by newer browsers. This applies not only to PM modules, but also to other modules.

If you have upgraded to the latest browser and the problem still persists, please contact the support team for further assistance.

Note: Please make sure about this issue in multiple browser as we have seen the case where the latest version is not same for some business, they use older version as supported by their organization, so make sure its not browser issue.

For compensation, it is possible that the number of records are more than 20, which may cause this issue. Have a note in the template XML whether the number of records to be displayed is more than 20, if yes, make it 10 and check:

For the known coding issue we deployed the fix for Preview environments on 6-June-2025, and the fix goes live for Production environments on 12-June-2025 with M2506 patch.
