3462069 - How to end the Approval reminders for quotes which are Expired but still waiting for approval?

• You manually changed the status of 4 quotes to Expired using Script Workbench, but these quotes still appear under the 'Waiting for Approval' List.
• And since the Auto approval reminder is set, emails have been going out for approval for these 4 quotes even though their status is Expired.
• You would like to know how to end the reminders for these Expired quotes.

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

The path for the reminder feature is as follows:

1. Go to Setup
2. Go to Workflow/Approval
3. Click on Approval Auto-Reminder

Issue is with Workflow settings.

A 'Retract approval process' action is available in Workflow.

Please perform the action to remove the quote from Waiting for approval list and auto reminder also will not be sent for the quote.

Please perform the below steps to resolve the issue.

1. Go to Workflow and enable 'Retract Approval Process' action on Expired status, under 'Waiting for approval' tab
   
   
   
   
   
2. Make sure to enable the "Retract Approval Process" action for your User Type under Workflow permissions
3. Now, go back to Load quotes page, under 'Waiting for approval' section, revoke the approvals for the Expired quotes as shown in the image.
   
   
   

Once the approvals are revoked, there won't be any reminders sent.
